New SITC Treasurer

Sherborne in the Community is delighted to announce that Chris Thompson has joined the trustees and will become Treasurer.

Chris is an Old Shirburnian (Abbeylands, 1972-6). He has recently retired having spent most of his career in the oil and gas industry, and lives in Hampton, Middlesex. He has been involved with various charities over a number of years.

Chris takes over from Alison Nurton, who has stepped down as a trustee. We are very grateful for her contribution to Sherborne in the Community over the past few years, and in particular for overseeing the finances, and wish her well for the future.
We are also grateful to Angus Cater who served as interim Treasurer for the past year. Angus remains a trustee.
